The online event is a way to showcase all of the amazing work that has been accepted to CHI internally and to give Scottish researchers the chance to find out more about others work. We are planning on doing paper presentations in Zoom and will also have an opportunity to show off posters/demos in Mozilla Hubs accompanied by a 1-minute madness session in Zoom.
Authors of accepted CHI papers have the opportunity to present their paper either a) live on Zoom, or b) by sending us a 15 minutes video presentation that we will play on the day. In either case, we would like the leading author to be there in person for the discussion after the presentation. In case of submitting a video, we ask you to follow the same formatting guidelines sent by CHI 2020 video presentation team; for more details check the email they sent to authors of accepted papers on April 14th.
The presentations and discussions will be on Zoom. They will be recorded and posted online afterwards. The breakout/networking sessions and poster/demo presentations will be in multiple rooms in Mozilla Hubs (not recorded). We will send the links to the Zoom meeting and Mozilla Hubs rooms as well as the final schedule to those who register through this form (deadline is 7 May 2020). This is a new form. Please fill it if you’d like to attend and/or present, even if you’ve filled the previous one.

We expect a mixed audience, including researchers of the Scottish HCI community as well as interested students, designers, etc.
