SICSA is pleased to be sponsoring the Post Graduate Cyber Security (PGCS) symposium on Tuesday 10 May at Edinburgh Napier University.

Welcome to PGCS symposium!
The Post Graduate Cyber Security (PGCS) symposium is a conference for early researchers and leading industrial experts in cyber security and digital forensics to present, discuss, and publish their research alongside guest speakers from academia and industry.

The PGCS symposium will be held in Edinburgh Napier University and in collaboration with The Cyber Academy and Strathclyde Forensics on 10th of May 2016 and in parallel with International Conference of Big Data in Cyber Security. Having the PGCS symposium held in parallel with this event will assist young researchers to understand the demands for cyber security and digital forensics in different organisations. We hope that the participants will engage with industrial contacts for future partnerships and research-based industrial collaborations.

PGCS paper submission
PGCS 2016 features as well as invited papers and invited posters on theory and practice in cyber security and digital forensics. Novel work in progress with no final results, research from industry, original proposals, and fresh ideas that have not been published anywhere else are all welcome!

All submissions will be peer-reviewed and will be published in The Cyber Academy website. Extended versions of selected papers will be invited for possible publication in the Journal of Cyber Security Technology. It is assumed that a submission shows the intention that at least one author registers for the conference and then makes the effort to present it. To submit your paper click here.

The maximum number of pages of the original submission is 4 for papers and 2 for posters, all in double-column IEEE format . The accepted papers are scheduled for oral presentation and the accepted posters are scheduled for poster presentation in the program.

Important Dates:
26th of February 2016: Call for paper submission
30th of April 2016: Paper submission deadline
4th of May 2016: Acceptance notifications
7th of May 2016: Camera ready deadline
