The annual showcase for Scottish Computer Science Research will be bigger and better than ever this year, taking place at the University of Strathclyde’s Technology and Innovation Centre on Friday 11th November 2016, from 4-7pm.
The event is co-organised by the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA) and ScotlandIS – Scotland’s trade body for the ICT sector.
DEMOfest creates an environment for businesses of all sizes to interact with Scottish researchers in Technology and Computer Science for collaborative innovation, research commercialization, problem-solving and talent-spotting.
DEMOfest is the largest event of its kind in Scotland, showcasing the very best of research from all of Scotland’s Universities.
This event will include:
- Keynote talks on Big Data (Dr Craig MacDonald, University of Glasgow) and Cyber-Security (Professor Bill Buchanan, Director of the Cyber-Academy).
- Our exhibition hall featuring the best of Scottish research in areas such as Big Data; Cyber-Security; User-Experience; Robotics and Autonomous Systems; Artificial Intelligence; and Networks and the Cloud.
