DEMOfest is our annual technology showcase of leading Informatics and Computer Science research from Scottish Universities and it creates an environment for industry partners and academics to come together and identify opportunities for:
- Collaborative Innovation
- Studentships, Placements and Recruitment
- Technology Licensing & Consultancy
- Feasibility & Proof of Concept Studies
DEMOfest 2016 takes place on 11th November 2016 (4-7pm) at the Technology and Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde. The event is organised in partnership with ScotlandIS – Scotland’s trade body for the ICT sector. This free event is open to businesses large and small; the public sector; academics and research students.
The 2016 event will feature:
- Keynote presentations on Cyber-Security and Big Data
- 50 researcher exhibitions on Big Data; Cyber-Security; User-Experience; Robotics and Autonomous Systems; Artificial Intelligence; and Networks and the Cloud
- Exhibitions from key stakeholders in the technology sector
