SICSA Cyber Security Research Them is pleased to be sponsoring the Poster Competition for Women in Cyber Security (PCWiCS)-2017: “The Truth About Cyber Security in 7 Words”, on 10 May at the Cyber Academy and is being held in conjunction with the International Conference of Big data in Cyber Security.

The competition aims to inspire women into cybersecurity roles by bringing together the cyber women from across the UK in the form of a poster competition. The event will be held in collaboration with Edinburgh Napier UniversityThe Cyber Academy and SICSA on the 10th of May 2017 and in parallel with The International Conference of Big Data in Cyber Security. Having PCWiCS-2017 held in parallel with this conference, will assist women in cyber security to understand the demands for cyber security/digital forensics in different organisations. This event not only connects women in cyber security to leading industrial experts but also provides for greater collaboration amongst universities and leading industries. We hope that the delegates will engage with industrial contacts for future partnerships and research-based industrial collaborations. The free cost of the event makes it an affordable home-based conference in Scotland.

All interested “female” from academia and industry are invited to submit their work on cyber security and digital forensics to PCWiCS-2017.  Full details and important dates can be found at the PCWiCS web-site
