Telling Stories with Technology: SICSA Short Theme Playful and Public Interaction is having it’s 3rd Playlab Workshop (part of ICMI 2017). This is taking place on Monday 13 November 2017 in the Sir Alwyn Williams Building, University of Glasgow
PlayLab is a SICSA (Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance) sponsored short theme. The aim of this theme is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in playful interaction from a variety of disciplines.
This workshop will examine the creation and production of a narrative told with and through interactive technology. Participants are expected to take an active part in creating an interactive piece that explores storytelling through a multimodal installation. Our motivation is to explore and critique methods with which technology can be used as a medium for storytelling.
This workshop will result in the production of a functioning interactive artwork that is driven by narrative. The artwork will be on display for the duration of the conference
