SICSA DVF Mark Wallace, Professor of Data Science & AI; Monash University, Australia will be presenting a research seminar on Stochastic Programming for Discrete Models at the Byes Centre, University of Edinburgh on Monday 10 June.

Overview:
The talk explores three approaches to solving problems of decision-making under uncertainty involving multiple scenarios. Each approach builds upon the one before. We start with Evaluate and Cut, then introduce Diving, and finally cover a Recursive Evaluate and Cut for multi-stage problems.
