Introduction: 

Digital security is an issue cutting across all ICT technology, components, applications or services. Cyber security itself requires long-term, underpinning research of the highest quality that can keep pace with the changing environment. This is recognised as a key funding and policy priority for Europe , with Cybersecurity being a crucial part of the EU’sDigital Agenda policy initiative and a priority area within the Horizon 2020 funding programme for research and innovation projects.

This session will provide a forum to learn more about the current and future funding opportunities within Horizon 2020 and other EU funding programmes, as well as discuss and further develop your own project concepts.

The areas of discussion will include:

  • Digital Security: Cybersecurity, Privacy and Trust calls in 2014 and main lessons learnt
  • Looking ahead: Cyber Security calls in 2016 / 2017
  • Horizon 2020 cross-cutting funding opportunities
  • Opportunities for SMEs
  • Funding Opportunities in other EU programmes
