Take this unique opportunity to hear from a world leading authority in the rapidly growing Cybersecurity industry and an expert panel during this open question and answer session. The Women in Cybersecurity event at Glasgow Caledonian University is for anyone interested Cybersecurity and will promote the industry as a career option open to everyone.
The panel consists of 4 women with different cyber experience:
- Global Lead for Technology and Operational Assurance, who heads a major financial institution’s Computer Incident Response Team;
- Professor from GCU leading the way in countering emerging threats to large organisations;
- A cybersecurity expert working for the Scottish Government;
- And a current GCU cybersecurity student who is already developing her career in cyber.
Each will share their perspective, consider why fewer than one in five people in cyber teams is female and suggest how to encourage more women to enter the industry. The panel will take questions during this interactive session and it is a great opportunity to meet people in the cyber industry.
