This is a one-day seminar series on Deep Learning for Computer Vision. Deep learning is a fast-growing field of Machine Learning concerned with the study and design of computer algorithms for learning representations of data at multiple levels of abstraction. In this seminar series speakers from Google DeepMind, Oxford University, King’s College London and Imperial College will present their work on Deep Learning for Computer Vision. The event is organised by Giovanni Montana and David Harris-Birtill on behalf of the Royal Statistical Society (Statistical Computing Section) and SICSA (Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance), respectively.

When: Friday, November 13, 2015 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (GMT)

Where: International Centre for Mathematical Science – 15 South College Street Edinburgh EH8 9AA GB
