SCONE is the SCOttish Networking Event – an informal gathering of networking and systems researchers in and around Scotland. The goal of these meetings is to foster interaction between researchers from our various institutions.
Each meeting will take place over the course of an afternoon, and feature:
talks from PhD students
talks from faculty, postdocs and industrial researchers
discussions of possible funding opportunities
food and drink
The Schedule for 5 November 2014 is:
12:00 – 1:00pm Lunch and Poster Setup
1:00 – 1:30pm Posters *
1:30 – 3:00pm Talks
3:00 – 3:20pm Break *
3:20 – 4:00pm A ‘for students’ interactive session *
4:00 – 5:00pm Talks
5pm onwards at a nearby pub.*
N.B. Sessions marked * are joint with cybersec attendees.
