SICSA is pleased to be sponsoring the 39th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR 2017) which is taking place at Robert Gordon University and the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) from 8 – 13 April 2017

The 39th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR) will be held in Aberdeen, Scotland from April 8-13, 2017. ECIR is the premier European research conference for the presentation of new results in the field of information retrieval (IR). ECIR 2017 has aimed to be inclusive of researchers stretching from the Northwest of Europe such as Scotland and Scandinavia, to Southeast on Eurasian boundary with Turkey. The programme now includes a new Doctoral Consortium for enabling wider student participation. To enable further opportunities for networking and social activities, we have provided the options of short trips to castles and distilleries nearby upon request.
