The CSDF-2018 is a conference for early researchers and leading industrial experts in cyber security and digital forensics to present, discuss, and publish their research alongside guest speakers from academia and industry. It provides an exchange between early researchers and leading industrial experts and will lead to the development of a Network of People in different areas of cybersecurity and digital forensics.

The CSDF-2018 conference will be held at Edinburgh Napier University in collaboration with the SICSA Cyber Nexus and The Cyber Academy on 31 May 2018. It is run in parallel with International Conference of Big Data in Cyber Security. Having the CSDF-2018 conference held in parallel with this event will assist young researchers to understand the demands for cyber security and digital forensics in different organisations. We hope that the participants will engage with industrial contacts for future partnerships and research-based industrial collaborations. All interested stakeholders from academia and industry are invited to submit their original work on cybersecurity and/or digital forensics to the CSDF-2018 conference.
CSDF-2018 not only connects cybersecurity and digital forensics researchers to leading industrial expertise but also provides for greater collaboration amongst universities themselves and leading industries. The free cost of the CSDF-2018 makes it an ideal home-based conference for post cybersecurity and digital forensics researchers in the UK.

All papers should be be submitted electronically through the conference submission website on EasyChair in PDF format. The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 4 pages including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style (two columns, single-spaced, 10 fonts). Distinguished papers selected from CSDF -2018, after further extensions, will be recommended for submission and publication in Journal of Cyber Security Technology.
