November will kick off with SICSA's showcase event, DEMOfest, on Tuesday 6th November in the Informatics Fourm, Edinburgh. This year promises to be a spectacular event, featuring over 60 exhibitors, which will be our biggest turn out since the event began! Registration is still open to Industry guests, so book your place here to see the very best of Scotlands Informatics and Computer Science research talent in one evening and who knows what it might lead to? If DEMOfest got you thinking about raising capital for your own start up, why not attend the CEO masterclass delivered by Hugh Campbell from GP Bullhound on "What Investors Really Want", and see things from the other side of the table. The masterclass is being held on the 8th November in Edinburgh and interested parties should contact Danny Helson to book a place. Rounding off November will be the iVTuesday Series, which this month features the story of Gareth Williams, CEO and Chief Executive of Skyscanner. Come along to the University of Edinburgh Business School to hear how Skyscanner has soared to new heights in the online travel comparison sector, in "The Sky's the limit, or is it?". |
