 How do I apply for SICSA funding to attend a Summer School?
If you are interested in attending a Summer School you should firstly ascertain the cost of the registration fee and secure approval from your supervisor. Once your supervisor has indicated their support for you to attend the Summer School you should contact the Executive Team at SICSA by emailing admin@sicsa.ac.uk, outlining the details of the Summer School and the total funding required. The request will be considered by the SICSA Graduate Academy Board and you will be notified by email as soon as a decision has been made. What will SICSA contribute? The maximum amount SICSA is ordinarily able to contribute towards attendance at Summer Schools is £500 per Summer School. SICSA will normally pay the summer school registration fee and accommodation charges (where accommodation is not included in registration) up to the total value of £500 (or the agreed limit).
