SICSA PhD Conference 2010
- Conference registration is open to all PhD students in computer science and informatics in Scotland. If you are not sure whether your PhD falls under this area please contact conference@sicsa.ac.uk.
-
Registration is free and includes access to all events, lunch on 10 June and evening meals on 9 and 10 June (the Conference Dinner). Accommodation will be provided for two nights for those attendees who are attending a University which is not in Edinburgh. Breakfast will be provided as part of the accommodation package.
-
Places are limited and registration will be on a first come first served basis. A waiting list will be used in the event that demand for places is higher than the number of places available.
-
Completing and submitting this form does not guarantee a place and registrations status will normally be confirmed via email within 10 working days of submission of the form.
-
Places may be available for other interested parties (eg academic staff or students from outwith Scotland) but such places will be subject to a registration fee of £100. This fee will entitle the attendee to full conference access (including relevant meals). This fee will also include the accommodation package for those who are attending/working at a University which is not in Edinburgh. Please email
chris.jowett@ed.ac.uk to indicate your interest. Do not fill in the registration form at this stage.
-
If a student registers but does not attend the conference SICSA will seek to recoup the associated costs from the home department of the student. The department may seek to recoup these costs from the student. Please therefore do not register until you are sure that you will be able to attend. If you register for the conference but then find that you may not be able to attend please email
chris.jowett@ed.ac.uk
