This workshop is endorsed and financially supported by SICSA, the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance. The objectives are:

  • to bring together researchers in fields such as formal methods, modelling, formal analysis, networked and distributed systems, service and protocol design
  • to work towards a shared understanding of networking problems that require systematic modelling and analysis
  • work towards a shared understanding of existing modelling and analysis techniques that may be suitable for networking problems.

The expected audience is modelling researchers with techniques that would be useful for networked and distributed systems, and networking researchers with an interested in modelling and analysis of their systems.

As this is a workshop, no formal proceedings will be published. The workshop will consist of invited and other talks from speakers in the field. Proposals are solicited for talks of around 20 minutes.

Key dates: submission of talk abstracts by 17th May 2010, submission of talks by 7th June 2010, workshop 17th June 2010.
