All those interested or involved in Information Visualisation or Visual Analytics are welcome to attend a startup meeting for a SICSA Visual Analytics Group within the MMI theme.
The meeting will allow members to meet other researchers across SICSA involved in the area, present an overview of their work/interests and allow us to plan how we might build our network.
Already this year there are visiting researchers in the field coming to Scotland through SICSA including Ben Schneiderman, John Stasko and Sheelagh Carpendale and it would be great to have a good overview of the activities across SCISA so that we can make the most of their visits.
The meeting will commence at 12:00 with lunch followed by short introductions and round table discussions with the aim of producing an action plan to build this network within SICSA.
