The Biological Visualisation Community’s 3rd BiVi Annual Meeting takes place in Edinburgh on 20th-21st April 2017. This two day meeting comprises one day with 3 keynote talks, 7 talks on biological data visualisation as well as opportunities for lightning talks, posters and demos, with a second day of hands on training workshops.
The talks and training include visualisation across the whole spectrum of biological data types from Œomic sequence based data through cells and tissues to whole organism physiology. This is a meeting of interest to anybody working in biomedical science as well as developers of visualisation techniques.
The keynote speakers are:

– Marc Streit: From Visual Exploration of Biomedical Data to Storytelling and Back Again
– Bang Wong: Art and Science: A partnership catalyzing discovery in biomedicine
