3rd Scottish Argumentation Day will be held at the Sir Duncan Rice University Library, University of Aberdeen on 20 June 2016

We are pleased to announce a SICSA-sponsored workshop on argumentation to be held in Aberdeen on the 20th of June 2016. This is the third edition of the Scottish Argumentation Day. The workshop is intended to strengthen inter-institutional linkages between research students as well as established and early career researchers in argumentation. This is an opportunity to present research in a friendly environment, to discuss and find out about future directions of research in argumentation and explore future opportunities.

The event is open to all researchers who have an interest in argumentation or want to find out more about it. If you are interested please send an email to a.toniolo@abdn.ac.uk. Please indicate your full name, institution and let us know if you want to give a talk (10 mins) or bring a demo. Please note that we would like every participant to give a 1 minute presentation about themselves, their research, and their interest in argumentation.

For the fill programme and further information about the event can be found at http://homepages.abdn.ac.uk/n.oren/pages/sad/scottish_argumentation_day/Welcome16.html

The organiser of this event is Alice Toniolo
