SICSA is organising a workshop on Centres for Doctoral Training which will take place on Friday 31 March 2017 at the Informatics Forum, University of Edinburgh
As an academic environment, we feel that Scotland is a great place to do CompSci research: friendly, collaborative, flexible and sometimes quirky. We want to ensure we are ready for a future EPSRC CDT funding call (expected in the next 12 months) by running a workshop event where we can share information and experience. We aim to establish strategic partnerships between smaller institutions that will give Scotland a good chance to achieve positive outcomes in future CDT applications.
We are therefore holding a SICSA Centres for Doctoral Training Strategy workshop at the Informatics Forum in Edinburgh on 31 March 2017. EPSRC representatives will attend and provide advice and guidance.
The event will also feature presentations from the seven SICSA Research Themes by our Theme Leaders.
