Workshop: Screens In Interaction with an Open Keynote Talk from Professor Barry Brown, Mobile Life, Stockholm

Tuesday 27 October at 10.00am, Edinburgh (venue to be confirmed)

This workshop will focus the use of video to study mobility, mobile devices and the user experience. There will be an ‘open’ keynote (no registration required), and a small, roundtable workshop for ethnographers and user researchers.

The workshop is for ethnographers and user-researchers wishing to present and discuss video data concerning the use of screen based devices in everyday health related behaviour in its broad sense (walking, cooking, sedentary behaviour, exercising, cycling etc). Whereas the previous UX for mHealth workshop had a strong emphasis on health and wellbeing, this workshop will focus on mobility and UX.

Register at Eventrbrite for the Workshop.

The workshop will be limited to approximately 10 people.  The ‘open’ keynote talk from Professor Barry Brown and data session on Tuesday 27 October at 1.00pm in the Informatics Forum is open to everyone.
