The programme will include speakers from across the Arts-Science, innovation-outreach spectrum of Knowledge Transfer and all of the key organisations involved with developing KT policies and strategies in Scotland. Amongst the confirmed speakers are Laurence Howells Senior Director of Skills, Research and Knowledge Exchange, Scottish Funding Council; Prof Ian Diamond, Chief Executive of the Economic and Social Research Council; Dr Graeme Reid, Dept of Business, Innovation & Skills; UK Government; Prof Mary Walshok, Associate Vice-Chancellor, Public Programs, University of California, San Diego, USA; Harald Egner, Strategy and European Relations, Fraunhofer Institution, Stuttgart, Germany; and Alice Frost, Policy Head for Business & Community, the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
Conference delegates will attend the keynote plenary sessions and pre-select from parallel sessions themed under the main categories of ‘Health’, ‘Wealth’, ‘Environment’ and ‘Culture’, thus building their personal conference programme. The conference exhibition, adjunct workshops, buffet lunch and refreshment breaks will further facilitate networking and participation.
