All Day

Location
Heriot Watt University

The SICSA Cyber Physical Systems Research Theme is participating in the European Robotics Forum in Edinburgh from 22 – 24 March.

We are inviting teams to demonstrate their work at the ERF 2017 under the umbrella of the SICSA-Cyber-Physical Systems theme.

A unique setting of technical demonstration is provided for both research labs from academia and industry to share experience and ideas. Through this exhibition stand teams will be enabled to share their visions and solutions to hardware and algorithmic implementation in Cyber-Physical Systems.  Each demonstration will be facilitated with a table, 2 chairs and a power outlet.  Demonstrators are expected to bring their own related hardware.

Each selected team will be able to exhibit for one full-day at the event with up to 3 members (ERF 2017:http://www.erf2017.eu).

Submission Guidelines:

Demonstration participants should submit a 1-page abstract and a link to a maximum 3-min demo video clip for evaluation or some pictures of the apparatus. The abstract should include a short description of the demo, setup requirements, and safety concerns if any.

All submissions will undergo a common review process among the organisers. Decisions about acceptance will be based on relevance to the theme, potential significance, and the accommodation capabilities. Please submit to mailto:Cyber-Physical-Systems@macs.hw.ac.uk  with the subject “Demo Submission for “SICSA-Cyber-Physical Systems: your name”.

Important dates:

Submission deadline: FEB 28, 2017

Acceptance notification: MAR 3, 2017

Event: ERF 2017 MAR 22-24, 2017
