Vacancies - General Information

SICSA continues to grow as a world-class grouping of excellent researchers in computer science and informatics and there are a range of vacancies occurring regularly across Scotland's SICSA Universities. Vacancies should be applied for directly to the recruiter, not via SICSA.

SICSA has been awarded more than £18 million in funding from the Scottish Funding Council and universities to appoint senior and junior academics in informatics and computer science. Excellence is the key criterion for appointment rather than topic area but we are particularly interested in making appointments to support our research in the SICSA theme areas. All SICSA appointments will be advertised on these pages, as well as locally within the relevant institutions.

The SICSA Graduate Academy also offers up to 20 Prize Studentships per year to the very best Computing Science and Informatics students from across the world. Our aim is to attract the research leaders of the future, whatever their nationality or place of residence, to come and work with us in Scotland.  For further information about the SICSA Prize Studentship please see the SICSA Graduate Academy web pages.
